DC CLANS Super Sketchers Week 14 (Dec 6 or 8): Posters in Perspective

Let's have a little holiday fun while learning 3-point perspective! Sometimes you want to show height or depth in a more realistic way. Enter: the 3rd point! (if you did our one and two point perspective scenes, you'll know what that means...if not, we'll explain it in class). With a third dot determining a vertical vanishing point, we can add very cool perspective. It's tricky, but it's rewarding. Let's make it soar!

CLANS (Churches, Libraries, Arts Councils, Non-Profits and Schools) pricing is for groups that want to hold in-person Draw Club sessions streaming the live lesson to a group of kids. There's no better investment than helping kids learn a skill while having fun together, and a providing them a community to share their talent.

Suggested ages: 8-15 for most skill levels. We take it slow for beginners and offer an easy template. If you're a little more talented, try our advanced template, and if you're super talented, print our template with no guide lines..you'll be challenged!

Participants will be sent a Zoom invite to join their Draw Club session and a JPG file to print to help follow the lesson. Please provide an email address you check regularly during check out so you are sure to receive both the link and the JPG files each week.

How Draw Club Works: The first three sessions of every month (4 session theme) are live on Zoom. The fourth week you will receive a link to a recorded Studio Project video on YouTube that combines the previous weeks' skills into a task students can explore and infuse their imagination into. There is no scheduled class to show up to the fourth week...you can finish the project at your convenience. When finished students can post their work to the GooGenius Draw Club Facebook Page for feedback and to share their work with others.

For this session, students will need:

•A computer or tablet to access the Zoom session.

•The PDF(s) you receive for the session printed before the session starts.

•A pencil and an eraser.

Photo Waiver: Draw Club takes weekly pictures of a handful of the student artwork and shares them in the email update and on social media for people to see what awesome artists we have. There are no names associated with the pictures. Unless you notify us otherwise (at Toons@GooGenius.com) not to share any photos of your student/art, your purchase of Draw Club classes will be deemed as agreement to let us use screenshots and any other images of your student/artwork, royalty free, in various GooGenius/Draw Club community-building and publicity applications.
